My name is Daria Kalinina. I was born in a small town nearby the Black Sea called Anapa. Since my childhood I was talented and unquiet child, enjoyed dancing and singing. And I even started to perform when I was 5 years old. To be on scene, to be on public is in my blood.

When I was 6 years old I entered to primary school and at the same time my parents started to take lessons for me in the School of Arts. While I was studying in the school I sang in a chorus, performed as a solo singer and participated in numerous musical contests and international festivals.
Music became inseparable part of my life and I decided to concentrate on career in music to become an opera singer.

At the age of 15 I finished secondary school and entered to the Academical College of Music by Moscow Conservatory.

In March of 2014 I participated in the International festival “The Night in Madrid” where I took the 3rd place and got a scholarship for studying Spanish.

In July I participated in a 3-weeks course “Music Horizons” at Eastman School of Music in Rochester (NY the USA). It was a sort of challenge for me because I was alone in other country where people speak in different language. However, I think I accomplished it courageously. And, of course, that was a huge experience for me. My skills of music and english language were improved.

In October 2014 I participated in the Master-Classes with the competition that were in Berlin (Germany). I won the 1st place and was honored to perform with Bradenburg state orchestra of Frankfurt (Oder).

In July 2015 I graduated from the Academical College of Music by Moscow Conservatory. I got the diploma with distinction.

In October 2015 I successfully passed the entrance exams in The Frankfurt University of music and performing arts (HfMDK Frankfurt) and started to study singing (bachelor).
